The blue badge scheme provides a national arrangement of parking concessions for people with severe walking difficulties who travel either as drivers or passengers. The scheme allows badge holders to park close to their destination, but the national concessions apply only to on-street parking.

There is no charge for blue badges in Wales.

All of our car parks offer disabled parking bays. They allow blue badge holders to park as close to their destination as possible and holders of a blue badge can park free in any marked bay within these car parks.

A penalty charge notice may be issued if a valid badge is not displayed.

Using badges illegally carries a maximum penalty of £1000.
