Find out about our ‘Request and Collect’ Service HERE

In recent weeks we have been opening our community hubs to maintain face-to-face access to public services.  However, it has proved difficult to ensure social distancing and maintain appropriate staffing levels to provide a safe service in the current climate.  We have therefore taken the tough decision to close hubs with immediate effect.  We are redeploying staff from these services to increase the capacity of our telephone lines.  We are also closing public access to County Hall in Usk, although our staff will continue to operate from this building.  You can also continue to report issues and get information from our website, the My Monmouthshire App and our Monty chatbot which can be found via Facebook messenger.

If you have library items that are due back do not worry.  We have made some changes to our Library system to assist customers during our closure:

– We are moving all due dates on borrowed items to an extended future date so that people do not have to worry about books becoming overdue and incurring overdue charges.

– Any overdue books from the last 6 weeks will be altered to be due back on a future date as well so you don’t have to worry about incurring any overdue charges on those items.

Remember library members can also access a wide range of books, magazines and comics digitally from

We will continue to provide telephone support via 01633 644644, plus you can access and request services via
