- Schools – Schools sites across Monmouthshire will switch to remote learning on Friday 18th February. Those that had inset days already planned will continue as usual.
- Recycling & Waste – PLEASE DO NOT PUT WASTE & RECYCLING OUT FOR COLLECTION TOMORROW 18th February 2022. Collections tomorrow will be cancelled, so any waste left out could blow around. We will recommence collections as soon as possible.
- ALL Monmouthshire Household Waste & Recycling Centres will be closed as a safety precaution tomorrow (Fri 18th Feb)
- Community Hubs – All COMMUNITY HUBS will be closed tomorrow due risks posed by #StormEunice. Please do not travel if not essential. If you need to access council services please use our chatbot Monty via the website.
- Bus services – All bus services cancelled Friday 18th February
- Community meals – The council’s community meals team deliver will food to all service users who require it and have made contingency plans for tomorrow. If staff are unable to deliver on Friday because of worsening conditions, service users will be contacted by phone and if they need assistance they will be prioritised. The community meals service has the use of a number of four-wheel drive vehicles while the bad weather persists.
- Monlife – All MonLife sites, including leisure centres and museums will be closed on Friday 18th February
- Abergavenny Town Hall and Market closed Friday 18th February
