The Planning Department will be moving to Monmouth on Monday 14th May.

Their address is New Market Hall, Market Buildings, Priory Street, Monmouth. NP25 3XA. Full reception and public access facilities will be available. All other contact details remain unchanged .

Changes to the Planning Web Site

We are implementing major changes in the way we publish applications to our web site.  From 14 October we will be scanning applications ourselves.  This in-house service will improve how we publish applications.  We will now be able to

• Ensure that applications are available online earlier than the several days' delay that existed before
• Attach descriptions to the documents so they are easy to identify
• Respond quicker to concerns about errors in documents
• Allow users to register for online services

As we change from one system to another there will be some disruption to our service.  We apologise for any inconvenience that may arise at this time, however, we hope that everyone will appreciate that the service will be enhanced.

Planning application guidance and forms

Applications can be submitted electronically to the council using the Planning portal website (external site) along with advice about the planning system
