Following a decision of the First Tier Information Rights Tribunal EA/2018/0033 (External link – Opens in a new tab or window), the Authority no longer publishes business rates data on its open data web page. It will no longer disclose information about business rate accounts in response to FOI requests.

Monmouthshire has an Open Data policy where we aim to publish all data that isn’t confidential. We believe that public sector data belongs in public domain. We will never publish personal data or anything that can be linked back to an individual- only data that gives key facts and statistics about our county.
Unless otherwise indicated everything on this website is released under the Open Government Licence which means you can reuse and reproduce it freely, with only a few conditions.
