Thank you to everyone who took part in the public consultation on proposals for public realm and active travel improvements Monnow Street, or took part in one-to-one business consultation or stakeholder workshops to help develop the design.

More than 480 people attended our drop-in consultation sessions in February, and 546 people responded to the consultation either online or by filling in a paper survey. The consultation is now closed, but you can still view the Monnow Street proposals here…

What happens next?

We are currently preparing a consultation report which will provide information on the consultation process and the feedback we received.

Once we have considered all the information gathered during the consultation and design process, the proposals will be presented in a report to Place Scrutiny Committee for consideration on Wednesday 19 April 2023.

The report will be available via the monthly meetings calendar seven days before the meeting. Cabinet is then expected to consider the proposals on 3 May 2023.
