Our Children’s Services & Community Development Team have partnered up and joined forces with local comprehensive schools, Papyrus and GAVO to run a series of engagement events focusing on young people and their families.
Events
King Henry VIII
June 19th 9am – 4pm,
Parents/carers and members of the community are welcome to attend from 3pm – 4pm.
The events will showcase local community groups and provide information on support services for children, young people, and families. They will also provide a forum for conversations about what matters to children, young people, and families.
At the event, organisations and agencies will provide information and expert knowledge on youth support, family support, finance/cost of living pressures, housing, being a carer/unpaid carer, disabilities and additional needs and advocacy, among many others!
The events held at the schools, will be accessed by young people during the school day and open to families and the community after the school day has finished (3pm- 4pm).
