Our Car Parks

Car parks are located in the towns of Abergavenny, Caldicot, Chepstow, Goytre, Gilwern, Monmouth and Usk.

Car parks are located in the towns of Abergavenny, Caldicot, Chepstow, Goytre, Gilwern, Monmouth and Usk.

Users of our car parks do so at their own risk.  The Council accepts no liability for any loss or damage to property whilst parked in our car parks.

When using our car parks drivers are required to follow our regulations:

  • Drivers must pay for parking using either the Machine or the Paybyphone App
  • Drivers must display their ticket clearly in the vehicle if purchased at Machine.
  • Drivers must park within a Marked Bay
  • EV Bays are to be only used by Electric Vehicles that are charging.
  • Disabled Bays must only be occupied by blue badge holders – a valid badge must be displayed clearly when parked in a Disabled or Ordinary Bay – Not valid in EV charging bays.

A Penalty Charge Notice will be served if the vehicle is found in Contravention of the following:

  1. Not Parked within a Marked Bay.
  2. Parked in a Reserved Bay/Disabled Bay.
  3. Failure to display Valid Blue Badge.
  4. Parked in an EV Charging Bay without charging.
  5. Vehicle Exceeding 3.5 Tonnes without authorisation.
  6. Trading/Dwelling in a Car Park without authorisation.
  7. Displaying an Expired Ticket.
  8. Failure to Pay and Display.
  9. Using a Long Stay Car Park Permit in our Short Stay Car Parks.
  10. Using a Resident Permit in a different location without authorisation.
