Monmouthshire County Council is excited to announce that works will soon begin on the Caldicot Town Centre Regeneration Project and have developed a Strategic Project Framework Document which explains the project in more detail.
The Caldicot Town Centre Regeneration Project is funded by Monmouthshire County Council and Welsh Government who have allocated £44 million across South East Wales through its Targeted Regeneration Investment programme (TRI). This programme aims to support economic regeneration whilst supporting wider sustainable development. Caldicot Town was chosen as Monmouthshire’s Principal Economic Regeneration Scheme and included in the County Council’s submission which formed part of the Cardiff Capital Region (CCR) Regeneration Plan.
Strategic Projects Include:
- The Cross Destination Space;
- Caldicot Community Hub;
- Urban Centre Property Enhancement Fund;
- Retail Parade Refurbishment; and
- Jubilee Way Urban Living/Courtyard Scheme
