People who live in Usk or regularly travel through the town are being invited to share their views on proposals to improve routes around Usk Primary School through a new consultation on Let’s Talk Monmouthshire.

The consultation, which runs until Monday 28 September, seeks feedback on proposed improvements designed to make journeys to, from and past the school safer, more accessible, and more sustainable for pupils, families, and the wider community.

The proposals include changes to walking and cycling provision around Usk Primary School and the nursery, including routes from the east along Monmouth Road and from the west along Castle Parade, Castle Street, and Four Ash Street.

The council is keen to hear from parents, pupils, residents, businesses, and anyone who regularly uses the area. Feedback will help shape any future improvements and ensure local knowledge and experience are reflected in the proposals.

The consultation is available now on Let’s Talk Monmouthshire, the council’s online engagement platform for consultations, surveys, and engagement opportunities.
