Throughout Monmouthshire there are many local bus services, servicing all the main towns and villages on a daily basis.

By car

Access from the south of England is via the M4 and the Second Severn Crossing or the M48 and the (original) Severn Road Bridge (both toll bridges). From the Midlands and north, access is via the M50/A40 via Ross on Wye. From elsewhere in Wales, the destination can be reached via the M4 or the A40/A465 via Abergavenny.

For the latest traffic information on trunk roads and motorways in Wales, visit www.traffic-wales.com

N.B. For both Severn bridges, a toll is payable when travelling westbound. For up-to-date information on charges visit www.severnbridge.co.uk. Unlike the Second Severn Crossing (M4), the original Severn Road Bridge (M48) has a path specifically for cyclists and pedestrians, for whom there is no toll.
