During adverse weather conditions, there are number options available to help people who are sleeping out.

Monmouthshire County Council work with a number of organisations and agencies to support people who are homeless and sleeping out in Monmouthshire.

If you are aware of someone who may be sleeping rough, please contact Monmouthshire County Council to let us know where they are and help us co-ordinate a response. You can inform us in the following ways:

  1. Telephone the Council on 01633 644644.
  1. Contact the Housing Options Team through any of the Community Hubs.
  1. Reporting the information via the Street Link website or app

We will then co-ordinate a response with our support partners.

There may be a variety of reasons why someone is homeless and sleeping rough, we ask you to respect their space and privacy and to avoid posting information on social media, as this may unintentionally expose them to risks.

Whilst your support is welcome, please be aware of your own safety and the safety of the person who is sleeping rough.
