FIT Class Descriptions

FIT Aqua

A water based workout to music that offers both cardiovascular and muscle conditioning using the water to support the body, putting less stress on your joints and muscles. Equipment is used to intensify resistance. This class is suitable for all abilities. Minimum age: 16 years.

FIT Aqua Running

A non–weight bearing activity where you perform a running motion in the water, optimising cardiovascular and muscular conditioning, while minimising joint, bone, muscular, tendon and ligament stress. This class is suitable for all abilities.

FIT Body Conditioning

This class is for those looking to gain strength and body toning. It includes core, circuit and interval training and is suitable for those looking for an intermediate level class.


Meta-Conditioning/Circuits combines the latest HIIT training techniques with traditional ‘Old School’ bodyweight exercises to set the metabolism on fire. Challenge yourself with this short and intense 30-minute workout.

FIT Boot Camp  

Boot camp is a group fitness class that promotes fat loss, muscle strengthening and overall fitness. It’s beneficial for everyone no matter what your age, ability or experience. Using burpess, press-ups and squats interspersed with running and competitive games, boot camp is an excellent activity to maintain a healthy body and mind.

FIT Boxercise

This is a high energy, fat shredding, non-contact training program using a combination of boxing movements and aerobics. It’s fun, stimulating and a safe way to exercise for men and women of all ages and abilities.

FIT Cardio Combat

This is a high-energy cardio workout to music that mixes punching and kicking with some intervals of conditioning. This is an ideal class for increasing cardio ability and stamina, as well as improving balance, posture and agility.

FIT Circuits

If you like the idea of adding variety in to your workout, circuit classes are the perfect solution. Working at your own ability, circuits is a station based class where you move from exercise to exercise building up your strength and endurance. Our classes vary in ability levels so please find the class that best suits your situation by calling your local centre.

FIT Easyline

Nine hydraulic exercise machines in a circuit offering a combination of both cardio and strength training with a high rate of calorie expenditure.

FIT Easyline/Kettlebells

Nine hydraulic exercise machines combined with kettlebells in a circuit offering you a combination of both cardio and strength training with a high rate of calorie expenditure.

FIT Kettlebells  

The kettlebell is a cast-iron or steel weight (resembling a cannonball with a handle) used to perform a workout that combines power and strength to build stamina and total body strength.

FIT Kettlebell Blast

The kettlebell is a cast-iron or steel weight (resembling a cannonball with a handle) used to perform ballistic exercises. A circuit that combines cardiovascular, strength, flexibility training as well as conventional exercises.

FIT Kettlercise

Kettlercise takes the basics from Kettlebells and combines them with an exercise class. This class will help develop your overall fitness and endurance. It is the single most effective Kettlebell fat burning workout that we have.

FIT Kickboxercise

This is a high energy workout including pad work, bag work and circuit training formats. This is a non-contact class for men and women of all abilities. You’ll get a full body workout, increasing your stamina and toning your muscles. It’s fun, energetic and addictive.

FIT Legs, Bums and Tums

The class consists of a range of exercises that will focus on these three areas. It is suitable for all fitness levels and will help those of all abilities to tone up and build strength.


This is the class for those of you that are after a little variety from your workouts. This class switches between aerobic and step routines, combined with a mixture of toning exercises. It’s suitable for all ages and ability levels.

FIT Intervals

This class combines a range of strength, full body and cardiovascular exercises preformed in rotation, by time or repetition. There’s a combination of lower body, upper body, total body and core. This is an intermediate level class.

FIT Pilates

Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength, develops control and endurance. This class puts emphasis on alignment, breathing and improving coordination and balance. It is suitable for all abilities.   

FIT Pump

This is a static toning class using a bar and free weights. It’s excellent for body conditioning and is suitable for all abilities. If you are new to FIT Pump please book on to the beginner classes.

FIT Spinning

Spinning takes a normal bike and allows you to train indoors in a group setting to a great soundtrack. Beginners can workout alongside more advanced riders as varying the intensity of the workout can be achieved through easy adjustments on the bike.

FIT Virtual Spin

Follow the DVD whilst on the bike for a fun alternative to the traditional indoor environment. Participants can work to their own ability varying the intensity of the workout through easy adjustments on the bike.

FIT Step

This is a high energy, total body fitness class where you perform a range of aerobic moves using step platforms to enhance your workout. The class suitable for all ages and fitness abilities.

FIT Toning

This workout focuses on particular body parts through a series of strength, aerobic and cardiovascular exercises. It’s a whole body workout suitable for all ages and abilities.

FIT Tai Chi

Thai Chi is a holistic approach to exercise focusing on posture, breathing and balance. This class is suitable for all ages and abilities.

FIT Yogalates

Taking influences from both Yoga and Pilates this mind and body class is designed to improve your strength and flexibility. This is an intermediate level class.

FIT Zumba

This is a choreographed class incorporating hip-hop, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, squats and lunges. There is no wrong move in Zumba, just keep moving your body and have fun! This class is suitable for all abilities. 

FIT Zumba Gold

This class is perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the moves you love at a lower intensity.

FIT 4 Life

This is a low impact gentle exercise class ideal for those new to classes or getting back into exercise.  A sociable way to exercise and is suitable for total beginners.
