28/01/2026 – Due to flooding, the following roads are currently closed:

  • Osbaston Road, Monmouth is closed near Forge Road.

The following roads have now reopened:

  • Wonastow Road, Monmouth
  • Rockfield Road, near Cenedlon Church
  • B4521 and connecting roads at Skenfrith
  • A4042 Both directions Little Mill – Abergavenny Hardwick Roundabout. The road is closed in both directions
  • Jingle Street, Monmouth
  • Groes Lwyd Road, above Offas Dyke path
  • Llanvihangel Crucorney Primary School will be closed on Tuesday, 27 January, due to flooding.

Waste Collection

Due to the weather, some waste and recycling collections have not been possible today (27 January). Our teams will aim to cover the areas we’ve been unable to visit over the next 24 hours.
