Sessional Family Time Worker, Children’s Services
These roles will provide support to enable children to have family time with their families after school, on weekends and during school holidays.
The role of a family time worker is critical in enabling children and young people who are being looked after by the local authority to fully access their right to good quality contact with their parents, brothers and sisters and other people who are important to them.
Monmouthshire is looking for individuals who are nurturing and empathic but also robust enough to support parents and children spend time together positively under sometimes stressful conditions. If you are interested in making a real difference to the lives of children and families, have the skills to develop and maintain relationships with families who are experiencing challenges and understand the importance of ensuring confidentiality and professional boundaries, Monmouthshire is looking for you.
Appointment to this post is exempt from Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
