Anticipated outcomes:

Adaption Lab – how to adapt in ideas for elsewhere using experimentation

● Have better understanding of what good practice in your chosen challenge looks like and how others have succeeded;

● Have assessed whether other people’s ideas could work in the CCR;

● Have developed a plan for testing and adapting those ideas that could be implemented in months 4-6.

Data Lab – better use of data for informed decision making

● Know what kinds of questions are amenable to data-based ‘approaches’;

● Understand where the most useful datasets (quantitative and/or qualitative) are, how to access them, and link to create greater value;

● Ability to write a clear analysis ‘brief’ to work with a data scientist;

● Good understanding of how to turn data analysis outputs into action.

Procurement Lab – procuring innovation; reviewing and innovating procurement processes.

Create a culture of sustainable leadership, change and innovation across and between all stakeholders, creating a new community of practice;

● Raise awareness of integrated commissioning, procurement and contract management to realise strategic aims, and explore the tools and frameworks to achieve them;

● Methods to optimise new and existing tools and processes to encourage innovative procurement practices.
