Plans to improve the A40/A466 Wye Bridge junction linking the town with the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean are now available.
The proposed plans show measures to reduce traffic congestion and minimise delays as well as improvements to pedestrian access by connecting the town to communities living and working on the east bank. Improvements will be achieved by constructing a third lane on the southbound approach of the A40 and upgrading the subway approach ramps.
A public exhibition has taken place in partnership with Monmouthshire County Council and the Welsh Government at Shire Hall, Agincourt Square on Friday 7th July from 11am to 7pm and Saturday 8th July from 10am to 5pm.
All the plans are below.
