Claiming these benefits has been made easier, you can now claim:
Online
Our Benefit service is provided by Torfaen Borough Council. Please go to this page and select ‘Online Benefits Claim’ to see if you will be entitled or to make a claim for Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction
Phone
You can claim by phone on 0800 028 2569. We will need your:
- Name
- Address
- Contact number
We will then arrange to complete your claim with you by a personal interview at one of our community hubs.
In person
Call into one of our community hubs and make an appointment for a personal interview. If you have difficulty in getting to one of our offices or completing the form, contact us on 0800 028 2569 to arrange for us to visit you.
Completing the short claim form
You can print off and complete the short claim form. We may need to contact you for additional information and proof of income and capital.
