Food Security Engagement Officer
As a key member of the Sustainable Food Projects Team, you will work with the Sustainable Food Projects Manager to coordinate local engagement activities for a variety of sustainable food projects within the County. Your activities will align with the priorities of the Council’s Community and Corporate Plan and the ambition of the Monmouthshire Food Partnership, and will support the County’s sustainable food agenda. Your primary responsibility will be to support and coordinate food security measures, contributing to the Council’s ‘A Fair Place to Live’ objective.

Grade: BAND F SCP 19–23: £29,777 – £32,076 pro rata
Hours: 18.5 per week – Generally, between the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4.30pm Friday. Evening, weekend and Bank Holiday working may be required occasionally.
Location: County Hall, Usk, with an element of home working
