Inspire2Achieve (I2A) is a project aimed at helping Monmouthshire’s most vulnerable pupils stay in full time education. I2A offers young people support that is tailored to their needs, including pastoral support, one to one mentoring, and alternative qualifications.
The project has been in operation since April 2016 and is delivered in Monmouthshire by MCC Youth Enterprise, Mounton House School, and the Pupil Referral Service. Careers Wales and Coleg Gwent also deliver the project as regional partners.
I2A is part of a wider East Wales ESF funded programme, also being delivered by:
Inspire2Achieve aims to:
- ensure that young people most at risk are identified and supported so that they remain in education, employment or training and their risk is reduced. This will reduce the likelihood of future or continuing poverty amongst young people.
- achieve improved health and well-being for young people
- instil a work ethic and higher aspirations for young people
