Helping young people reconnect with education

Inspire Outreach supports young people aged 12–19 who are currently having difficulty attending school or engaging in education.

This may be due to a range of challenges, including low attendance or being out of education altogether. Our role is to help young people understand and overcome the barriers they are facing.

Working closely with schools, the Education Welfare Service and wellbeing panels, our outreach workers provide tailored support in settings that feel comfortable and appropriate for each young person.

Through one‑to‑one or small group support, we focus on rebuilding confidence, re‑establishing routines and supporting a return to learning.

When a young person successfully reintegrates into school, our teams will support a smooth transition into Inspire In School, ensuring continuity and ongoing encouragement.

If returning to school isn’t immediately possible, we continue to support young people up to age 19, helping them find and sustain a positive pathway into education, employment or training.
