Become a Local Access Forum member

Do you have an interest in public rights of way and countryside access?

Monmouthshire County Council is searching for new members for the statutory Local Access Forum.

Membership of the Forum provides an opportunity for those with knowledge and experience of countryside access issues in Monmouthshire to advise the council and other bodies on countryside access and recreation.

Members of LAFs are volunteers and include a range of people from the local community, including landowners and land managers, access users and those representing other interests, such as health and conservation.

The Forum meets quarterly. These are unpaid positions but Forum members will be able to claim reasonable expenses. Membership will be for a 3 year period.
