MEET THE TUTOR: Erin Taylor

I have been crafting since I was very young, thanks to my father who taught a model workshop and is also an avid macramé maker. Both of my grandmothers taught me to knit, crochet and embroider, these influences instilled a love of all things handmade in me.

I love to sew and have been making items of clothing for myself, family and friends for many years including fancy dress outfits, from Cleopatra to Tinkerbell, baby clothes and my very own wedding dress.

Bead and wire work appeals to my scientific nature and I love to plan intricate pieces for special occasions, whereas paper crafts appeal to my spontaneous side where the design can be more free-flowing.

I have taught classes of various sizes and all ages, from complete beginners to experienced crafters who want to learn new techniques.
