MEET THE TUTOR: Bernadette Chapman
I am a Sugar Florist and passionate about the art of Sugar Craft and Cold Porcelain Floristry.
My interest in Sugar Craft began over 25 year ago when I attended Kent County College in Maidstone, where I trained in all aspects of Sugar Craft. This training enabled me to make my own wedding bouquet completely crafted in sugar.
In recent years, I have attended a number of courses at the Prestigious Squires Kitchen International School in Farnham Surrey. I was trained by internationally known tutors including Alan Dunn, Paddi Clark, Ceri D.D. Griffiths and Mark Tilling, These courses led to me being awarded three Master Certificates. I have a Professional Diploma from Knightsbridge PME School of Cake Decorating and Confectionary Arts.
I am also a member of the British Sugar Craft Guild.
I am always keen to pass on my skills and experience to like-minded people, who are interested in learning about Sugar Craft and the medium of Cold Porcelain.
I find it very rewarding when others achieve what they believe to be beyond their capabilities.
