Abergavenny Town Council – Deputy Town Clerk/Deputy Responsible Financial Officer

Abergavenny Town Council is seeking to appoint a
Deputy Town Clerk/Deputy RFO who will provide
support to and deputise for the Town Clerk/RFO
in relation to the management of the Council’s
operations and helping develop and implement
its forward-looking strategy and associated plans.
Working from the Council’s offices in the Town
Centre, applicants must be able to demonstrate
a capacity to think and act strategically, have
experience of administrative management in a
complex environment; an ability to understand
local government law and procedure; financial
management knowledge; competent IT skills; and a
willingness to pursue ongoing training opportunities.
