Monmouthshire residents are being encouraged to take part in the Let’s Talk Resident Survey 2026 and share their views on life in the county.
The survey gives people across Monmouthshire the chance to say what is working well, what could be improved, and what matters most to them, their families and their communities.
Residents are being asked about a range of topics, including their experience of their local area and how they view council services such as education, social care, transport, recycling, libraries and leisure centres.
The survey is hosted by the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) as part of the National Residents Survey, with Monmouthshire participating for the third year. Feedback will help the council better understand residents’ experiences, priorities and expectations, and support future service planning.
Cabinet Member for Equalities and Engagement, Cllr Angela Sandles, said: “We want to hear from as many residents as possible. Your views help us understand what matters most in communities across Monmouthshire and where improvements can be made.
“Taking part in the survey is a simple way to have your say and help shape future services.”
Residents can complete the survey online, download a paper copy, or pick one up from their local Community Hub or Library. Completed paper surveys can also be returned to these locations.
The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and closes on Friday, 30 October 2026.
