Students across Monmouthshire are celebrating today (13 August 2026) as they receive their A-Level, AS Level and vocational qualification results, marking an important milestone in their education and opening the door to a wide range of future opportunities.
Across the county, students at Caldicot School, Chepstow School, King Henry VIII School and Monmouth Comprehensive School have been collecting their results, supported by teachers, staff and families who have helped them throughout their learning journey.
Monmouthshire County Council congratulates all learners on their achievements and recognises the dedication, resilience and hard work they have shown in reaching this point.
Leader of Monmouthshire County Council, Cllr Mary Ann Brocklesby, said: “Today is a proud day for students, families and school communities across Monmouthshire.
“Receiving exam results is an important milestone and a chance to reflect on the hard work, commitment and determination that has brought our young people to this point.
“Whether learners are progressing to university, further education, apprenticeships, employment or exploring other opportunities, we are incredibly proud of what they have achieved and wish them every success for the future.
“I would also like to thank our teachers, school staff, parents, carers and families for the support and encouragement they provide throughout the year. Their dedication plays a vital role in helping our young people achieve their potential.
