Supporting young people to stay engaged and confident
Inspire In School works alongside young people aged 14-19 to help them stay engaged in education and feel positive about their future.
We know that school life isn’t always straightforward. Some young people face challenges such as low attendance, feeling disengaged, struggling with behaviour, or experiencing wellbeing difficulties.
With a dedicated officer at all our secondary schools, Inspire is here to offer the right support at the right time.
Through personalised one‑to‑one support or small group sessions, we help young people build confidence, overcome barriers and explore what comes next.
Alongside this, Inspire provides opportunities to gain additional qualifications, such as BTEC Level 2 and other employability awards, to help strengthen future prospects.
Whether a young person is unsure about their next step or needs extra encouragement to keep going, we offer inclusive and impartial guidance across all education, employment and training pathways.
Support can begin while a young person is still in school and continue until age 19 if needed, helping them move forward with confidence into their next stage.
