Monmouthshire County Council is aware of an unauthorised encampment at Caldicot Leisure Centre and is following our protocol and Welsh Government guidance. We’ll be engaging with those involved and carrying out the necessary checks while appropriate legal steps are considered. 

Both Caldicot School and Caldicot Leisure Centre will be open tomorrow (5 May 2026).
