Today, 14 August 2025, Monmouthshire students have collected their A-Level, AS Level and BTEC results. This date is one which learners will have marked out, as they plan their next steps in their lives and careers.

The county’s four schools, Caldicot School, Chepstow School, King Henry VIII, and Monmouth Comprehensive, have seen staff greet students and their families as they discover the outcome of their years of hard work.

Monmouthshire County Council wishes to congratulate all the learners and thank all the staff in our schools and the families who have supported them throughout the years.

Cllr Laura Wright, Monmouthshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education, said:
“For many students, today will mark the end of their education at their school. Those receiving their AS-levels will now look forward.

“We wish everyone all the best on whichever onward path you have chosen to pursue.

“We also celebrate the dedication of all our teachers across the county. Their work has meant that our learners were able to prepare themselves to take the next steps in their lives.

“Congratulations to the class of 2025.”

The Results Campaign, delivered by Working Wales, aims to showcase the variety of options young people can pursue after leaving full-time education, thanks to the Young Person’s Guarantee.

To this end, a collection of resources has been created to offer young people and their families practical advice, encouragement, and guidance during this time.

Resources will also be shared across the Working Wales website and social channels

Free mental health support is also available through NHS Wales SilverCloud, offering flexible, evidence-based online programmes to help young people manage stress, anxiety, and low mood. Sign up at nhswales.silvercloudhealth.com/signup/
