Debra Hill-Howells, Chief Officer Infrastructure and Craig O’Connor, Chief Officer for Place and Community Wellbeing

Monmouthshire County Council is pleased to announce the appointments of Debra Hill-Howells as Chief Officer for Infrastructure and Craig O’Connor as Chief Officer for Place and Community Wellbeing.

Monmouthshire County Council’s Leader, Cllr Mary Ann Brocklesby, said: “I am delighted to share with you the news that following an interview process and a Full Council meeting, we’ve appointed Debra Hill-Howells as Chief Officer for Infrastructure and Craig O’Connor as Chief Officer for Place and Community Wellbeing.”

“Both Debra and Craig have built their careers here in Monmouthshire, and we’re excited to continue working with them as they take on these important leadership roles. Their dedication to the communities of Monmouthshire has been evident throughout their service, and I’m confident they will continue to make a positive impact.”

Debra Hill-Howells said: “I’m delighted to be taking the next step in my career here in Monmouthshire. By working closely with both officers and members, we’ll continue striving to enhance infrastructure across the county and deliver meaningful improvements for our communities.”

Craig O’Connor said: “I’m excited to continue working alongside members and officers in my role as Chief Officer for Place and Wellbeing. Monmouthshire is home to vibrant towns, villages, and attractions in every corner of the county, and I look forward to working with our communities to showcase these strengths and support the county’s ongoing development.”
