All Monmouthshire residents who are registered to vote in this week’s European Parliamentary election can do so at their polling station (with or without a polling card). Monmouthshire County Council residents can find their nearest polling station at maps.monmouthshire.gov.uk
Monmouthshire County Council has assured residents in the Magor and Undy area that they will be entitled to vote in Thursday’s European Parliamentary election even if they have not received their poll cards. The council has been made aware that that the Royal Mail has not delivered poll cards to some properties in Magor and Undy but Returning Officer Paul Matthews has stressed that residents will be able to participate in the election, provided they are registered to vote.
Paul Matthews said: “We apologise for a situation that is not of our making and outside our control. If anybody has any queries please would they contact our elections team by email: firstname.lastname@example.org”.
