Do you have a good idea? If three other people were willing to help, what would you love to do to make your community a better place?

Monmouthshire County Councils Community Partnership and Development Team are eager to help local individuals and groups achieve their community ambitions. The team specialises in helping to develop and empower groups aTnd individuals who want to make their town or village a better place, and are looking forward to meeting people in a variety of locations throughout March and April.

The team will be on hand to listen to ideas and provide valuable information and support to make ideas become a reality. A wealth of information is available, including how to obtain funding, opportunities to link individuals to groups who have similar goals and offer training opportunities to anyone who gives their time to help others. 

There will be a series of drop in sessions, the team will also visit local community groups and be present in public spaces across Monmouthshire. Children and young people from local schools will be participating in the engagement process as the team are eager to listen to the ideas of future generations.

The Team will be visiting a range of locations across the county in the next five weeks, covering Usk, Abergavenny, Caldicot, Chepstow and Monmouth. Come and meet the meet the team in Monmouth week commencing Monday 11th March.

Drop in to Monmouth Hub on Tuesday 12th March 5.00pm – 7pm or Friday 15th March between 1.00pm – 4.00pm. Visit Usk Hub on Thursday 21st March 1.00pm – 4.00pm and 5.00pm – 7.00pm and share your ideas with the team at Abergavenny Market on March 26th 10.00am – 2.00pm.
