The Vale of Usk Local Action Group has commissioned a survey to gauge demand for co-working spaces targeted at the technical, digital and creative sectors in the area.  The group particularly seeks views from people running a business from home who may feel isolated and who would benefit from networking or sharing resources with like-minded colleagues.

The survey will explore whether there is a desire to provide shared creative working spaces in one or more locations in Monmouthshire and rural areas of Newport, and if provided, how these might lead to new opportunities for work-based collaborations.

The survey can be found at and as well as sharing views about possible co-working spaces, respondents can ask to be kept up to date on research and related opportunities.  The deadline for responses is Wednesday 8th November.

The research has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
