The Velothon Wales will return to south Wales on Sunday 22 May, 2016.
The Velothon is a Welsh Government cycling event and will be delivered on their behalf by Run 4 Wales, the events team behind the Lloyds Bank Cardiff Half Marathon and the forthcoming IAAF/Cardiff University World Half Marathon Championships, Cardiff 2016.
It is hoped that up to 18,000 riders will be taking part along a 140km route on completely closed roads through south Wales.
Full details of the route can be found on the Velothon Wales Website. The race is will start in Cardiff before travelling through Newport, Monmouthshire, Torfaen and Caerphilly, and finish back in Cardiff city centre.
The route through Monmouthshire has changed and organisers have taken into consideration some areas that were affected last year.
