Monmouthshire Community Learning Terms and Conditions:

Monmouthshire Community Learning aims to provide all courses advertised however we cannot provide any guarantees. The provision of courses is dependent on minimum class numbers being reached. If a course does not reach the minimum number it will be cancelled or postponed.

We have the right to change, cancel or alter courses however will provide learners with as much notice as possible if this is the case.

Some courses are run online in which learners will be required to have an internet connection and a digital device with a microphone and a camera – we have a limited number of devices available to loan out for the duration of the course.

Payment:

Payment is to be made in full at time of booking (with a 7 day cooling off period) at one of our five community hubs via credit or debit card or over the phone via our automated payment service.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Monmouthshire Community Learning reserves the right to cancel and change courses. If this is necessary, a full refund or credit note will be provided.

Once enrolled on a course, learners are liable for all costs. Refunds will not be provided unless the course is cancelled by Monmouthshire Community Learning.

How we will use your information

Processing of your personal data by Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) is necessary to process your enrolment on to your chosen field of study. Without this information, Community Education within MCC may not be able to fulfil this service.

Your details will be legitimately shared with Coleg Gwent (franchise courses only) in a safe and secure manner. From time to time it may also be necessary that we share your personal details with awarding bodies. Your personal details will not be shared further, unless in relation to safeguarding or other legal obligations.

Your records will be safely stored and retained in line with our retention policy, unless we need to retain under another lawful basis.

You have a number of rights in relation to the information including the right of access to information we hold about you and the right to complain if you are unhappy with the way your information is being processed. For our full privacy statement please CLICK HERE
