Recycling for Schools
Battery Recycling
New laws mean that large numbers of household batteries must now be recycled. The council is working with a company called Budget Pack to provide free battery collections from schools.
Classroom battery recycling boxes are available (17x21x17cm) as well as larger reception or bulking containers (25x39x23) with plastic liners. Collections are scheduled at the end of every term.
If your school is interested in taking part in the new battery recycling scheme, please contact the Recycling Team at County Hall.
Further information on battery recycling is available.
