Monmouthshire Association of School Governors (MASG)
"Giving a voice to Governors in Monmouthshire".
The Monmouthshire Association of School Governors (MASG) is an independent forum for school governors and governing bodies in the county. Membership is open to all governing bodies of maintained schools in Monmouthshire.
Representatives attend termly meetings of the Association.
The current chairman of the association is Canon Keith Denison who represents Usk Church in Wales Primary School.
MASG provides:
- An opportunity for governing bodies to bring matters of common concern to the association for discussion.
- A channel of communication between governors, local education authority and Welsh Assembly Government.
- An opportunity to meet members of the Directorate Management Team and participate in an open forum with the Corporate Director of Education.
