Welsh Assembly Uniform Grant
If you are a parent who's child is about to attend year 7, Secondary School, in September and they are eligible for Free School Meals, you will be entitled to a uniform grant of £100.00 subject to annual review.
To obtain an application form for free school meals please contact the School and Student Access Unit at schoolandstudentaccessunit@monmouthshire.gov.uk.
To be entitled, you as the parent or carer must be in receipt of one of the following:
- Income Support.
- Income Based Jobseekers Allowance.
- Support under part VI of the Immigration and Aslyum Act 1999.
- Child Tax Credit and not Working Tax Credit and your household income less than £16,040.
- Guaranteed element of State Pension Credit.
