Most schools in Monmouthshire take part in recycling using the council’s red and purple bags. The recycling team can also visit schools to deliver recycling and composting workshops but most schools prefer to visit the One Planet Centre at Llanfoist near Abergavenny.

The One Planet Centre is a purpose-built education centre and is ideal for groups of up to 30 children. The visit combines an escorted tour of the site with an interactive session inside the Centre. Please contact the recycling team on 01633 644126 or email: recyclingandwaste@monmouthshire.gov.uk to book  a visit.
