The Planning Policy Team has responsibility for the following areas:
Preparation of the Local Development Plan which when adopted will cover the period 2011-2021.
Advice on the current development plan which covers the period 2006- 2011 and will be in force until it is superseded by an adopted Local Development Plan.
Production of Supplementary Planning Guidance. Dissemination of Census information and statistics as well as research into the health of our town centres and the monitoring of housing land.
