I think this is long overdue and would welcome it in Chepstow. Most households have their own security lights anyway and have blackout blinds to stop light intrusion at night. Our street lights were so bright that we had to have a special fitting to direct the light downwards!! Often the street lights will be on when it is light outside too ie early in the evening or too late in the morning when us householders wouldn't dream of wasting electricity in the same way.
