Recycling Centres

Where can I take my recycling?

Household Waste Recycling Centres

There are four Household Waste Recycling Centres in Monmouthshire. Llanfoist and Caerwent are the larger of the two and are also transfer stations. Usk and Mitchel Troy are the two smaller sites which have limited capacity and therefore carry some restrictions of what can be recycled there.

All Household Waste Recycling Centres are open seven days a week only closing for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.  The opening times for all sites are 8am to 6pm throughout the year.

A wide range of materials can be recycled at the sites.

A full list is available to download.

Alternatively, visit our recycling centres in Abergavenny, Chepstow, Caldicot, Monmouth or Usk  or via the 'Where I live' section.

Recycling Bring Sites

In Monmouthshire there are almost fifty smaller recycling centres throughout the county. A list is available to download per town and surrounding area.  Abergavenny, Monmouth, Usk, Chepstow and Caldicot.

Please consider the neighbours when using these facilities (sites are available 24/7)

  • Try not to make a special journey
  • Do not leave any materials on the ground as these will not get recycled.

Alternatively, visit our recycling centres through the 'Where I Live' section
