Welcome to the Estates & Sustainability webpage. The Estates team is responsible for managing the council's diverse property and land portfolio ranging from schools and community buildings to industrial properties and county farms holdings. This page provides information on the properties which the council has for sale and to let in the Monmouthshire area.
The council currently has a selection of industrial and retail properties to rent, as well as sites available for sale. Further information is available by clicking on the words in blue.
The Estates team is also responsible for the management of the council's County Farms holdings. These consist of farm, bare land and woodland holdings. While farm holdings do not become available for re-letting very often we do have a waiting list. If you are interested please contact Debra Hill-Howells on 01633 644 281 or Gareth King on 01633 748 331. The council also has large areas of grazing land; the agreements for these are reviewed regularly and tenders are invited when they become available. A list of agreements available at the moment is available below.

Property For Rent
The council has a selection of properties which become available to let. These include units at our four industrial estates - Pill Farm, Old Pill Farm, Castle Way Industrial Estates in Caldicot (near the M4 motorway) and Raglan Enterprise Park. Units range in size between 450 sq ft and 2,000 sq ft (41 sq metres and 185 sq metres). The council also has retail premises in Monmouth, Abergavenny, Goetre, Chepstow and Caldicot, which occasionally become available for rent.
The estates team is also responsible for the management of the council's farms, comprising farms, bare land and woodland. Whilst farms do not become available for re-letting very often we do have a waiting list.
