Charity Gourmet Dinner in aid of Llamau

On 28th May at 7.30pm, Purple Poppadom will be hosting a special gourmet dinner evening organised by Llamau, the Welsh charity for homeless young people and vulnerable women. Raffle prizes include an invaluable culinary Masterclass experience for two people with Chef Anand George. The four course dinner will also include a glass of wine or beer, and costs £40 per person. Llandegfedd and the Sor Valley

Join the Monmouthshire Countryside Service for this 6 mile (9.75km) walk from Llandegfedd Reservoir through fields, woods and green lanes to Llandegfedd village.
The return journey is along the picturesque Sor Brook.
One steep slope and lots of stiles. Bring your own packed lunch and a drink. Assistance dogs only please.
From the main road through New Inn follow the sign "Llandegfedd Reservoir 2, Coed y Paen 2½". After 300 metres turn right at another sign "Llandegfedd Reservoir 2, Coed y Paen 2½". Follow the road until it crosses over the dam, drive up the hill on the other side and enter the car park on your left after 300 metres (ST 330 986). Postcode NP4 0SS.
Walk lasts approximately 3½ hours.
