Junior Life Saving Club and Chepstow Leisure Centre staff will be taking part in a sponsored swim of 21 miles
The Junior Life saving club and Staff at Chepstow Leisure Centre will be taking part in a sponsored swim of 21 miles which is the equivalent to swimming the English Channel on Tuesday 26th April 7.30-9.30pm.
"Lengths for Life" will raise funds for a new Breast Test Centre that is being built in Cardiff. The new centre will provide Breast Testing and the provision of a new scanner as well as consultations and treatment for women in the South Wales area including Monmouthshire who may be suffering with breast cancer.
The staff at Chepstow Leisure Centre will give their time by lifeguarding the session and being part of the relay team with the junior lifesaving club, to allow the sponsored swim to take place. The event is estimated to take between 2 - 2.5 hours during the out of hour's event.
