Have your say

Current consultations

How would you spend it?

To inform Gwent Police Authority's policing priority discussions, it is important that the people of Gwent have an opportunity to tell us what their policing needs are.  This is achieved through a number of activities, one of which is our e-survey, 'How Would You Spend It'.

The results will be used as part of the annual policing priority process and will inform the 2012-2013 Local Policing Plan.  They will be made available via the police authority website during the Autumn of 2011, and can be used to inform your local planning requirements - most particularly, perhaps, around community safety.

Report of the Director of Social Services

We recently asked service users, their families and other groups on the effectiveness of social care provided by the council.

A summary of the results can be downloaded.

You can also read an executive summary of the report.

Gwent Police Local Policing Plan 2011-15

The local policing plan 2011-2015 sets out how Gwent Police Authority will work with the Chief Constable over the next four years to provide the best possible policing service for the people of Gwent.

Gwent Police face significant cuts in their budget and will have unprecedented challenges. But, are confident that they can continue to deliver an effective and efficient policing service, tailored to meet the needs and aspirations of our local communities.
