We will also Email you a .txt file of the latest update if you give us your details, and we can post you a print or Braille copy. We will also add you to our mailing list if you wish. All Monmouthshire Libraries have access to the web. The latest copies are also available from Tourist Information Centres, where they will be pleased to see you and inform you of the latest opportunities for enjoying the countryside with numerous public and private organisations.
Our Current Program
Activities for everyone?
By recognising and working with people who have differing requirements, we are removing barriers to improve accessibility to all our activities in Monmouthshire and the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Information to make a choice?
Each event and access to it varies and we try to give concise information to enable people to make safe choices for themselves. "Barrier free" means no stiles or steps, and gates will be suitable for electric pavement scooters and pushchairs. More detailed information will be available if you contact us well in advance, as we want to help everyone have the opportunity to take part wherever possible.
Travel options?
Check out options for buses or trains in the activity description and check with National Traveline enquiry line on 08706 082 608 or www.travelline.org.uk
Man's best friend?
Assistance dogs always welcome, but check if there are stiles on walks. Dogs on short leads may be allowed when suitable. Please worm your dog regularly for the health and safety of people and farm animals.
When to cancel?
Leaders always turn up, but may cancel due to adverse weather or other circumstances! Wearing clothing and footwear to suit the likely ground and weather conditions is important for your safety and enjoyment. Please consider this.
