Policies H13 and H15: Replacement Dwellings and Extensions to Dwellings in the Countryside
The Adopted Unitary Development Plan has introduced two new policies – Policies H13 and H15, which, respectively, deal with replacement dwellings in the countryside and extensions to rural dwellings. The Council has prepared draft Supplementary Planning Guidance proposing guidelines on how the policies will be applied when assessing planning applications for these forms of development.
This draft SPG is currently out for consultation. The document has been sent to identified stakeholders such as Community/Town Councils in Monmouthshire, adjoining local planning authorities, other statutory consultees on development plan matters, agents and architects who regularly submit applications in the County and local civic societies.
Comments are also welcomed from members of the public and any other interested parties. The consultation period runs until 5 April 2007. If you wish to make representations, please follow the links to the consultation letter and representations form . The document itself can be viewed on the link above.
