The Wales Programme for Improvement (WPI) is all about delivering continuous improvement.  It is an essential part of the Council’s approach to managing performance. images

The main components of the WPI are: 

  • An annual assessment of all services and functions
  • Making use of performance indicators
  • The publication of an Improvement Plan showing what we plan do and how well we are performing against our stated aims
  • Conducting reviews of services where necessary
  • Close working with regulators
